Founded in 2017, by Sarah Manski, the International Society of Blockchain Scholars (ISBS) is a global interdisciplinary association of researchers as well as practitioners from the worlds of business, social movements and public policy. The purpose of ISBS is to advance the understanding of blockchain technology across a broad range of academic disciplines and to support the construction of appropriate theory and methods for the study of blockchain technology in all its social, technological, economic, political, and economic dimensions.
ISBS membership is open to those interested in discussing their blockchain research, collaborating on blockchain research projects and papers, or gaining entry to the emerging field of blockchain studies.
